Allstate — Victor Alfaro Agency
My time as a licensed producer at the Victor Alfaro Allstate agency was a deliberate apprenticeship. Before owning agencies, I wanted to understand the craft of insurance sales from the inside — sitting at the desk, dialing leads, and closing policies.
In three months, I consistently hit $15K–$20K in new monthly premium by focusing on consultative selling rather than transactional pitching. I asked questions before quoting. I understood that a client buying auto insurance is also a candidate for renters, life, and umbrella coverage — and that the conversation, not the product, was the differentiator.
This short stint gave me the producer's perspective that I now use to coach my own teams. I know what the job feels like from the ground floor, and that empathy makes me a better leader.
